Eddystone Ž Tatler Sand Eel SPORTFISHING Lures went into production in 1973. Our United Kingdom Factory distributes it's products all over the World.

Our lures get their name from probably the most famous lighthouse in the world which stands on the notorious Eddystone Reef of Rocks 14 miles out into the English Channel. Our picture shows the Eddystone Light and the stump of the old lighthouse. The old lighthouse now sits for all to see on Plymouth Hoe where Sir Francis Drake played his legendary game of bowls before setting off to defeat the Spanish Armada.

We developed our lures fishing for Bass, Pollock and Coalfish which patrol this area in search of their natural sea food, the sand eel. Hence our design of artificial sand eel lures, which have been proven on this particular spot. TEN WORLDS RECORDS cannot be WRONG! Show us another Artificial Lure with that pedigree.

Our lures are successful fish catchers around the world for a variety of different species. These were initially introduced by travelling anglers from the United Kingdom. We now export our products World Wide.

Our company is continually producing new and innovative products for the sea angler.

EDDYSTONE EEL LURES were the Winners of the GLASS BOWL TROPHY at the July 2001 E.F.T.E.X Exhibition in AMSTERDAM for the BEST NEW PRODUCT in the WORLD COMPETITION from over 1500 entrants with the PLUG EEL.

During 2004 and 2005 we have further extended our product range considerably with new exciting lures, tackle boxes, bait buckets, fishing rod and reel designs we test personally. All of our team are dedicated anglers, so we know what we are talking about.

iIn 2007 we introduced the Eddystone Eel Glitter Back range of Lures. In 2010 we introduced a few more colors and designs based on the Eddystone Eel lure. These are only currently available in the UK.
